It’s weird how much I don’t care about the “indie” music scene anymore. Like, I don’t even know what’s hip with Pitchfork or what new band filled with white guys wearing Urban Outfitters is making cool music. I used to be all over that shit. Now new CDs that I get into are usually old or local or twinkly/emo or really great stuff like Punch Brothers.
